The Desert Winds Expedition Race is a competition. It is also a journey, an exploration, and an adventure in Nevada USA.
Adventure racing is the sport of teams of athletes crossing natural terrain using muscle and wit and all-the-while solving the problems that arise from true adventure.
This race will include all the traditions of expediton length racing along with a host of surprises and a backcountry tour of the beauty of southern Nevada outside of Las Vegas.
We are pleased to bring you this event during the week of the full moon, September 18 to 25, 2010. Registration is open!
