We have many years of experience racing at a top level from PQ's,the Raid Gauloises, USARA nationals, Fogdog Nationals, the Balance bar series, Eco Challenges etc. We have been top 5 at the PrimalQuest, won the Bahamas Extreme Challenge, the Sea to Summit, Four Winds, 3rd at the beast of the East, were the Tahoe Big Blue series Champs, members were top at nationals, winners of the Checkpoint tracker series, and many others. Well over 100 races combined raced on this team. We come to compete, traveling light, fast, remaining friends and NEVER forgetting first place. Happy trails! We're a team from Texas and we have been racing for over 10 years, in all distances from sprints to expedition races. We enjoy exploring new places and we're looking forward to a long race outside of our home state.

We've all done PQ (Utah, Montana, South Dakota) and various other adventure races over the years - anything from 6 hours to 10 days. It has taken us many year, many races, and many team configurations, but we feel we've finally put together the dream team. We are all looking forward to a fun-filled race through the desert, pushing our limits and looking for a fast race with minimal mistakes.

DIRTY AVOCADOS is made up of every-day athletes from Northern California’s Bay Area and Central Valley. We are guys and gals with mixed backgrounds and vocations, including fire-fighting, teaching, high-technology, and finance. As teams and individuals, we compete in local, regional, national, and international adventure races along with various other endurance sports and expeditions.

For us, adventure racing and endurance sports are not simply activities, but instead a lifestyle. Many of us live, breath, eat and sleep adventure racing every day of our lives!

Just got back from XPD. Was sharing a table with team SOAR at final party. Tom spoke so highly about the race had to look into it. Talked to DART once I got back and decide I need something new to do.
